champagne chocolate

    champagne chocolateChampagne and chocolate.

The two must haves in my survival kit; next to matches and a cell phone. I mean can a lady survive without either? Thank goodness ShoeBox Bakery realized the necessity of both and created this wonderful little treat called (insert drum roll here) champagne chocolate!

It’s a deep chocolate folded with champagne, then topped off with a champagne glaze. The little treats are only $8.50 a dozen; which gives you plenty to share with others, and available for pick up or shipping.

Check out champagne chocolate here, and visit www.shoeboxoven.com for more information and to view their other tasty treats.

nina perrera clutch

Nina Perrera BagsWe all get this feeling sometimes.

Like you can’t exist without having something, therefore making everything in your existence all about getting exactly what you want. Every Savvy Socialite knows  that every now and then you see something that you must have and will not stop until you can get it.  For me it was the Louis Vuitton Speedy in 2002;  2003 Dior shades worn by Jennifer Lopez (later stolen) and a simple black pair Manolo Blahniks; 2004 Balenciaga’s Motorcycle bag; 2005 Marc Jacobs Stam, Fendi’s Spy and a navy Armani suit that had a fit that was made for my body; 2006 Eiffel Tower high waist pants that I called to several stores in Italy to find ; and in 2007 Roberto Cavalli leopard print dress, 1B lace-front wig 18inches and a Nina Perrera croc clutch, finally an obsession that will not break the bank of Dad.

The IHDA nominee for best handmade handbags, has created a clutch that is totally versatile. I swear it matches everything, whether its a pair jeans or a dress and who doesn’t want to punch up an outfit with a hot bag that makes a fabulous style statement. It also comes in some other fab colors and styles to match your personality, and did I mention that they are all leather? No PVC crap here.

With prices ranging from $250 to $600 this clutch is a steal.

Check out www.ninabags.com for more information about the designer and where you can find her bags.

fabulous, french, and open until 3 a.m.

    Bruno Jamais Restaurant 2

A Fabulous Upper East Side restaurant open for dining at 3:00 a.m.????

    Perfect!!!!

Bruno Jamais is a first class restaurant with a luxe, South of France (who doesn’t love the South of France?) atmosphere that engages you the moment you step through their doors and is one of the city’s best kept secrets for fabulous food, music, and people.

With a menu that reads as if I just landed in the French Riviera (the lobster brulee, braised short ribs, and creme brulee are must haves), two wine cellars with bottles as expensive as $10,000 and a patron list that reads as a who’s who list; Bruno Jamais is what you’ve been looking for. Especially if you’re into places that haven’t been totally exploited in the New York City scene, and where courtesy and etiquette blend pleasantly with the jet setters, socialites, fabulous cuisine and great drinks!

Per the usual , reservations are required with chic attire requested (what other way could there be?) . Monday through Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. with a DJ and live bands for the after dinner crowd and Sunday’s 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. with a reduced price menu.

Bruno Jamais Restaurant and Club, 24 East 81st Street between Madison and 5th Ave; New York, NY; 212-396-3444. Check out the full menu here or visit www.brunojamais.com .
