wax on wax off: tyra banks

tyra in wax

So the Emmy winning former super-model who I think is a great role model for women of color is finally embolized in wax. Madame Toussard’s did a fabulous job on this statue, even the lacefront looks like Tyra’s own. She’s soooo fabulous.

champagne chocolate

champagne chocolateChampagne and chocolate.

The two must haves in my survival kit; next to matches and a cell phone. I mean can a lady survive without either? Thank goodness ShoeBox Bakery realized the necessity of both and created this wonderful little treat called (insert drum roll here) champagne chocolate!

It’s a deep chocolate folded with champagne, then topped off with a champagne glaze. The little treats are only $8.50 a dozen; which gives you plenty to share with others, and available for pick up or shipping.

Check out champagne chocolate here, and visit www.shoeboxoven.com for more information and to view their other tasty treats.
