If you don’t know already Gap Inc.’s Forth & Towne stores will be closing at the end of June (sigh), which blows because I actually liked the store. Forth & Towne was like Harold’s/Ann Taylor/Banana Republic/White House Black Market; mashed into one great store that provided me with work and play essentials.
I remember like it was yesterday, going to New York City and finding this oasis that kept me step ahead of my co-workers hum-drum wardrobe but, not to bold as to isolate senior management. Ah yes, you were perfect; too bad they didn’t market you correctly or place you in better markets to reach your targets (I mean really; why were there no Forth & Towne stores in the DC Metro area??? Who was the genius in the meeting who suggested not having some stores here?). I will definitely miss Forth & Towne but, I think I will be able to get over it considering how the stores are having serious sales (up to 60%) to clear out the merchandise (yippie!!!!!!!!!) and because Forth & Towne focused on classics this is a sale one can ill afford to miss. So, Ladies if you are in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, and Seattle fire up the AMEX and head to your nearest store to stock up on some summer classics before they officially close their doors at the end of June.

Good Bye Forth & Towne, you will be missed.

Then a light bulb came on and I reached for a cute little package of Bristol 6 Stylin’ Tape. I swear we taped her pants together then went out and partied and it stayed (even though she was nervously checking throughout the night to just to make sure). I have got to say that this product is the truth and I strongly recommend it to anyone.
