If you haven’t seen it yet you definitely need to make your way down to Arena Stage to see legendary playwright August Wilson’s play, “Gem of the Ocean”. This play is one of Wilson’s relatively new pieces that he wrote before his untimely death in 2005. I definitely think this is one of his best plays, next to Jitney, and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
Gem of the Ocean will run at the Arena Stage now until March 18, 2007.
